These donuts make a great dessert. This recipe is especially suitable for birthday parties and will delight your guests.
Ingredients:
- 500 g fresh wheat flour
- 80 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 50 g margarine
- 200 ml milk
- 23 ml water
- 1 package of dry yeast
- 2/3 pkg. vanilla sugar
- Icing sugar (for the icing)
Preparation:
- Mix all ingredients well and knead into a simple yeast dough. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the risen dough to a thickness of about 1.5 cm and cut out circles (e.g. with a wine glass).
- Cut a hole in the center of each circle, e.g. with a shot glass.
- Let the donuts rest for another 30 minutes. In the meantime, heat the oil in the deep fryer to 160°C – no hotter!
- Bake the donuts until golden yellow on each side.
- Mix icing sugar with a little water to make a glaze and dip the donuts in it.
- Enjoy!
