This fluffy banana bread is a real treat that you can easily prepare and enjoy with this great recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 350 g fresh whole wheat flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 3 bananas, soft
  • 160 g brown cane sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 ml light milk
  • 150 g margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100g walnuts
  • 1 tbsp fat for the pan

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, cream the margarine and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time and mix well.
  3. Mash the bananas with a fork and stir them into the mixture.
  4. Mix fresh flour with baking powder, chopped walnuts and salt.
  5. Alternately fold in the flour mixture and the milk.
  6. Preheat oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat).
  7. Grease a loaf pan (approx. 1 ¾ l capacity) and pour in the batter.
  8. Bake for approximately 60 minutes.
  9. After baking, let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes and then turn it out.
  10. Enjoy!
