This fluffy banana bread is a real treat that you can easily prepare and enjoy with this great recipe.
Ingredients:
- 350 g fresh whole wheat flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 3 bananas, soft
- 160 g brown cane sugar
- 3 eggs
- 125 ml light milk
- 150 g margarine
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100g walnuts
- 1 tbsp fat for the pan
Preparation:
- In a bowl, cream the margarine and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time and mix well.
- Mash the bananas with a fork and stir them into the mixture.
- Mix fresh flour with baking powder, chopped walnuts and salt.
- Alternately fold in the flour mixture and the milk.
- Preheat oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat).
- Grease a loaf pan (approx. 1 ¾ l capacity) and pour in the batter.
- Bake for approximately 60 minutes.
- After baking, let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes and then turn it out.
- Enjoy!
