Delicious whole-wheat tortillas. Quick, easy, and good!
Ingredients:
- 200 g freshly ground wholemeal spelt flour
- 1 tsp rock salt/sea salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 90–100 ml water
- a little flour for rolling
Preparation:
- Mix flour and salt.
- Add water and olive oil and knead to form a smooth dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
- Divide into 4-6 equal pieces and roll out on a floured surface to a thickness of approximately 1 mm.
- Dampen a tea towel and wring it out. Use it to keep the flatbreads warm later.
- Cook in a hot pan without fat until bubbles form.
- Turn over and continue baking until the underside is brown.
- Wrap hot flatbreads in a damp cloth to keep them soft.
- Fill as desired.
- Enjoy!
