Fancy some healthy snacks? These carrot balls are made with freshly rolled oats – super delicious, super healthy! Why roll your own oats? Because they're simply better than store-bought oats from the supermarket in terms of taste and nutrients. Rolling them yourself is super quick and easy.
This great recipe comes from Agnes, who runs the wonderful recipe blog Glückstopf – definitely worth checking out!
Ingredients:
- 60 g carrots
- 60 g hazelnuts or almonds
- 80g Medjool dates (or 100g dates for those who prefer a sweeter taste)
- 50 g freshly crushed oat flakes
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Preparation:
- Blend all ingredients together in a mixer until a kneadable dough forms.
- Form small balls.
- Enjoy!
